Sunday Morning Activity - City Boat Tour of Venice & Visit of Murano Island Glass Factory

Venice at its best!

November in Venice is definitively special. The high season has come to an end, and the city can be now appreciated and fully enjoyed. wether the weather will be sunny or foggy, there will be a special magic about these places.

The tour will start in Murano, where some of our most skilled glass masters will show us the secrets of the millenary technique of glass blowing. There, if you wish, you'll be able to get some souvenirs for your family and friends, before getting back on the boat, heading to the main city of Venice.

We'll be walking through some of the narrow, typical alleyways (by the way, we will be a large group so make sure you walk on the right...as if you were all little Mini cars!), to reach Venice must-see: Rialto, center of finance and commercial exchange, and San Marco, center of politics.

By then you will be starving, so we've booked a very typical restaurant.

After lunch, your guide will be available for an afternoon tour of the Basilica (upon request, to be decided during lunch).

Monday - Venice Gala Dinner

We look forward to welcoming you all to an evening of food and fun, at Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal. The hotel is located in the heart of Venice, just a stones throw from St. Mark’s Square. The hotel has elegant surroundings steeped in history, it is the former palace of the Dandolo family, and housed during the 15th century the earliest "Ridotto" of the city, a sort of retreat for people looking for different kinds of leisure: courtesans, gamblers, brawls and political plots. The structure has a rich and picaresque past and Giacomo Casanova especially enjoyed it, being one of its famous and frequent visitors, providing the ideal backdrop for his conquests. The hotel offers stunning views of the Grand Canal, the church of Santa Maria della Salute and the island of San Giorgio.

Dress Code

Usually Euro-IX does not have a dress code for the meeting or the dinner. However for this Gala Dinner, in order to relive the atmosphere of the "Ridotto", we suggest that all attendees come in smart casual/ business informal clothes.
